October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, exceeded only by lung cancer.

About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer.

The good news is that many women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. When breast cancer is detected early, in the localized stage, the 5-year survival rate is 98%. Learn how you can fight breast cancer.

1) Make it part of your office visit

Get your flu vaccination during your regularly scheduled clinical visit.

2) Drop in during office hours

Drop in at your convenience. Our lab is open for patients to drop in for a flu vaccination. Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
