Endocrinology

Endocrinology is the study of the human body's endocrine system. The endocrine system consists of glands in our bodies that secrete hormones which have an effect on other parts of the body. An endocrinologist specializes in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of the glands of internal secretion, the endocrine system.

Robert W. Salzman, M.D. Specialty - Internal Medicine Subspecialty - Endocrinology Dr. Salzman is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology. He is a graduate of the Tufts School of Medicine. After finishing his internship and residency at Roger Williams General Hospital in Rhode Island, he completed a fellowship in endocrinology at University Hospital in Boston.
