Robert C. Calway, MHCA, BS, MT (ASCP),
as Chief Operating Officer.
He will be joining Granite Medical on May 9th. Bob Calway is the former Vice President for Business Development, Physician Services and Compliance Officer at Northern Berkshire Healthcare (NBH). Bob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and a graduate degree in Health Law and HealthCare Administration.
He has extensive experience in clinical operations, healthcare design and development, clinical program development, healthcare quality improvement, healthcare regulatory compliance, revenue cycle and clinical operations. He has written and spoken on topics including electronic medical records, healthcare facility design and development, healthcare accreditation, risk management, regulatory compliance, revenue cycle, EMR, HIPAA and Healthcare Fraud and Abuse at numerous national forums. Mr. Calway serves as a laboratory accreditation inspector for the American College of Pathologists.
