Achieves Top Clinical Quality Ratings
Quincy, MA (March 18, 2010) – Granite Medical Group, an affiliate of Atrius Health, proudly announces that its internal medicine practice scored at or above the national 90th percentile ratings in important preventive and chronic care quality measures in the 2010 Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP) Quality Insights: Clinical Quality in Primary Care report.
Granite Medical physicians achieved the highest possible star ratings in chlamydia screening in young women; cholesterol screening for adults with cardiovascular disease; diabetes care for adults; asthma care for adults; correct imaging test for lower back pain; management of antidepressant medication; appropriate use of medications in adults; and screenings for breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and cervical cancer.
